Lithuanian tour 2008
Vieri is going to play 3 concerts as soloist with Musica Humana under Maestro Algirdas Vizgirda on 12, 13 & 15 August 2008 - programs will include Vivaldi Op. X nr. 1 & 3, and Mozart Concerto for Flute, Harp & Orchestra KV 299, with Joana Daunyte on the Harp. Concerts will be in Nida & Juodkrante. After the concerts, Vieri will give a week long Masterclass in Juodkrante. Please stop by and say hello if you are in the area!



Vieri & the AFCO at the BFS Convention 2008!
Vieri will perform with the All Flutes Chamber Orchestra at the BFS Convention in Manchester on August 24. Program will feature Vivaldi´s Four Seasons in Vieri´s own transcription for solo flute and flute orchestra.

Mersin International Festival
After playing with great success at the Gala Opening Concert of the NFA 2007 Convention in Pittsburgh, PA Vieri and the All Flutes Chamber Orchestra gave a memorable performance of Vivaldi′s "Four Seasons" at St. Paul Church in Tarsus, near Mersin (TR) - in this wonderful and touching setting, a very well preserved proto-Christian Church said to be the place where St. Paul used to preach, Vieri and the All Flutes Chamber Orchestra got a never ending standing ovation at the end of their performance.



NFA Gala Opening Concert - again!
After having played with huge success at the Gala Opening Concert of the NFA 2003 Convention in Las Vegas, Vieri has been chosen again to perform at the NFA Convention 2006 in Pittsburgh, PA, this time soloing with the All Flutes Chamber Orchestra and... again at the Gala Opening Concert!
This is wonderful news and a very important achievement both for Vieri individually (twice featured at the Gala Opening Concert out of two partecipations at the NFA Conventions!) and for the All Flutes Chamber Orchestra, a group composed by students and former students in Vieri's class at Mimar Sinan University in Istanbul, Turkey; for those players, all between 16-22 years old, this is a wonderful chance to start touring and be known, and to get to know the flute and music world as well.

Paganini at Sir James Galway′s International Masterclass
Vieri will present his edition of the Paganini Caprices during Sir James Galway′'s International Masterclass in Weggis, Switzerland, 9-14 August 2004.
The why and the how for a new transcription, comparison with examples from the original violin version, the Herman edition and the new edition Vieri completed. With Vieri′s played demonstration and printed material available for everyone!

II International Flute Meeting, Tatui, BR
Vieri has been invited to partecipate in the II International Flute Meeting in Tatui, Brasil.
The Meeting will be held between September 24-26, 2004, and will mark Vieri′s first appearence in Brasil!
